A unique work where we witnessed the dance of the statues. Two wall sculptures were created from ammonite (Speetoniceras, Volga/Russia, about 176 million years old, split in half) and olive wood (northern Spain, about 450 years old). For this three-dimensional art object, a million-year-old ammonite from Russia was split down the middle, processed, and aesthetically combined with olive wood from the southern Pyrenees.
The ammonite, a prehistoric octopus, was a unique creature - a fossilized, aesthetic representation of the evolution of life.
